WARMING CENTERS AND SHELTERS ARE OPEN IN VIRGINIA

During Winter Storm Fern, warming centers and shelters across Virginia are open or scheduled to open to provide a safe, heated space for individuals and families during extreme cold.

Locations, hours, services, and pet policies vary by each center and are subject to change.

If you do not see your locality listed, we encourage you to call 2-1-1 to check for additional warming centers or other cold-weather services. More details may also be available by dialing 2-1-1 or by searching “Warming Centers” in our public resource directory.
