- We field the first call. 211 Virginia takes the initial call, reducing the burden on service providers and cutting costs associated with managing information and referrals, allowing your staff to focus on serving clients.

Comprehensive Database
211 Virginia’s database team continually verify listings to ensure that our database is as accurate and up-to-date as possible. At a minimum, our database staff will send service providers annual reminders to ensure records are updated annually. If you notice something is out of date, please let us know. You can also suggest additional listings.

Add Your Agency We are always looking to list new health and human services in the 211 Virginia database.
Interested in listing?
1. Search for your agency to make sure it isn’t already listed.
2.Review our Inclusion Policy, which outlines eligibility for program and service listings.
3. Click “Add Your Agency” above to fill out our New Agency form.A member of our database or community engagement team will reach out to you as soon as possible to confirm your information. Please note that new agencies may take longer than usual to process due to the recent database transition.

Update Your Agency Help us keep your information accurate and up to date!
A designated contact person for each service in the 211 Virginia resource directory will receive an annual email reminding them to conduct updates and providing them with a tokenized link to their update dashboard.
Have updates to make, but can’t find your link?
1. Search for your agency to review your information and make note of which records need updating.
2. Check to see if your agency already has a designated point of contact.
3. If your agency already has a designated point of contact, have them email your database curator and ask for your update date to be reset on the records that need updates.
4. If your agency does not already have a designated point of contact, click “Claim Your Agency” above to submit a point of contact for your agency. New contacts will hear from their community engagement specialist within 4-6 weeks of completing the Claim Agency form.
