As a partner of the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and a member of Virginia’s Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), 211 Virginia acts as the official public information line, supports local emergency management during emergent situations, and is the official call center for the North Anna and Surry Nuclear Power Stations.

    VHHA is an alliance of hospitals and health delivery systems. 211 Virginia plays a vital role in Patient Locator and Family Reunification, offering real-time information during mass casualty incidents to help locate the hospital where affected individuals have been taken.

  • Dominion Energy

    Dominion Energy operates two nuclear power stations in Virginia—the North Anna and Surry Nuclear Power Stations. In partnership with Dominion Energy and VDEM, 211 Virginia plays a critical role in disseminating information and resources in the event of an emergency at either nuclear power station. To ensure preparedness, 211 Virginia participates annually in the Virginia Operations Plan Exercise (VOPEX).
